Plot[]
The episode starts with Mr. Dr. Eggman being teased by Nine, but warned him that they will soon have a third Shard. As that happened, they heard some rumbling. As Mr. Dr. Eggman left, Nine tried to contact Sonic, who is still in No Place with the blue Shard in his possession, but surrounded by the pirates, but will have to call back in ten minutes. The crew was mad because they think that he deserted them. Sonic tried to convinced them, but failed. He then gave Dread the slip before running off with the Shard. Dread ordered them to give chase, but Rusty said that, whilst they can still move, they couldn't fly yet.
As the Yolkomotive was being repaired, Dr. Done-it spots Sonic escaping from the Kraken and Deep doing yoga. Mr. Dr. Eggman managed to patch into their radio and asked where the two doctors are at right now and Done-it said that they will have the Shard in their possession. Deep asked how long it will take until they were operational, and Done-it replied that he just started programming the Eggforcers to do the repairs and called his yoga, "yogurt", much to Deep's anger. Afterwards, Sonic tries to escape Dread's crew and, though he was caught by surprise, he was still able to make a run for it. Dread warned Rusty that if the ship goes down, he'll be blaming her for it.
Meanwhile, in the Void, Shadow spotted the Chaos Council's Mothership. Don't was driving and Babble is playing a game that allowed them to shoot the floating shards. However, the engines were damaged by Shadow, so Don't shut down the engine before they blow and sent out a repair squad to fix it. While Shadow was checking to see what was taking Sonic so long, Eggman told Deep and Done-it that they're going to be delayed.
Sonic was still hiding from the pirates and contacted Nine and told him that he will get the Shard to the Void. Nine told him to hurry, but Sonic had to deal with the pirates. Nine told him to forget the pirates and focus on their mission and as that happens, Sonic was nearly shot by Catfish. As Sonic was trying to escape via kicking up enough speed, he sees Shadow, and due to him carrying the Shard, he could see and hear Shadow clearly and he told Sonic to get out of No Place, to which Sonic said that, even with his Hovercraft Kicks, he needed solid ground, and he knew where he could get it: where Dread got the Shard from ' "There's No ARRGH In "Team" '. Sonic was then being chased by some torpedoes that were locked onto his signature thanks to Rusty and the explosion created a shockwave. As they were still chasing after Sonic, Rusty and Black Rose talked about how they had something in common until they were interrupted by Dread.
In the Void, as Don't was checking on the progress on the engine repair, one of the Eggforcers was attacked by Shadow. To see what was going on, Don't took control of one of the Eggforcers and got scared of the situation. Though the engine was at 65%, Mr. Dr. Eggman was still able to get the Mothership running.
With the Yolkomotive repaired, Done-it and Deep went to get back the Shard with Deep getting his suit and Done-it taking control of the wheel. As that was happening, Sonic tried to ask one last time that Dread give back the Shard, but Dread said that Sonic will have to fight for it, as, Sonic lost his grip on it when he hit a rock, which allowed Rusty to grab it, only for Dread to take it from her. As the two were about to fight, they were ambushed by the two doctors. The two groups fought, with each of them having the Shard, then losing it. As Dread and Sonic fought for the Shard, Sonic let go to save Rusty, and then save Black Rose from Deep. As Dread then abandoned ship, Done-it and Deep chased after him, and so did Sonic. Deep then showed off his "warrior" pose, but Done-it told him to grow up and attack. As Deep was distracted, Dread shot one of the buzzsaws on his suit and ran off. Sonic was able to take the Shard from the Dread and tried to get to the Void, however, the Mothership arrived. Mr. Dr. Eggman warned Sonic to give them the Shard or say goodbye to Nine forever, and Dread was shot. Sonic then spotted the crew being pinned by Deep and his Eggforcers and was now surrounded. Sonic told Eggman that if he wanted to Shard, he'll have to get it himself, and threw it down to the water. The crew was fighting the Eggforcers, while Rusty and Black Rose worked together to fight Deep and Sonic Spin Dashed him off the Kraken. Sonic then grabbed onto an Eggforcer that was holding the shard. As the Mothership was leaving, Deep destroyed the Eggforcer so that Sonic would fall down to the water, and he can take the shard.
Sonic was then saved by the Kraken. Rusty warned Sonic that if the Council requires all the Shards, the Shatterverse won't be safe. Sails then gave Sonic a telescope to find Dread climbing aboard the Mothership to retrieve the blue Shard. As Sonic Spin Dashed up, he was able to hold on and Rusty and Black Rose hoped that Sonic will stop them. In the Void, the Council headed to back to New Yoke City to deal with the rebels, little did they know that Sonic and Dread were still outside of the Mothership, climbing up one of the ladders.
Regional differences[]
- In the Mandarin Chinese dub, Dr. Done-It confuses the Chinese word for "yoga" (瑜伽, Yú jiā) by naming it backwards (伽瑜, Jiā yú).

Trivia[]
- When Sonic attacks Dread with a Spin Dash and grabs the Prism Shard in the air, he strikes his iconic finger-gun pose from the box art of Sonic Adventure before landing.
- When Dread and Black Rose punch and slice an Eggforcer, the camera angles seem like a reference to the montage of Sonic and his friends fighting Dr. Eggman's Badniks in "Shattered".
- The footage of Black Rose and Rusty's duo attack is reused in "Home Sick Home".
- The Latin Spanish and Vietnamese titles for the episode are shared with the season three episode "No Escape".
