Jack in the Box is a popular American fast food restaurant that has participated in promotions related to the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Sega (1999)[]
Not long before Sonic Adventure released in the United States, Jack in the Box started selling Sega toys with their Jack's Kids Meals. They were also selling four Sega PC games that corresponded with the four toys.[1]
Toys[]
The four available toys were of the Sega characters Sonic, Knuckles, Bug and Ecco The Dolphin.[1]
The Sonic toy was a Sonic pull-back racer. By pushing down Sonic's head, the front wheel wound up and propelled him forward. The Knuckles figure didn't have any action features that most kids' meal toys had. It was more of a display piece, but the arms and head could swivel.
PC games[]
The games were $1.99 if purchased with the kid's meal or $5.99 on their own. The games available were Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic & Knuckles Collection, Bug! and Ecco the Dolphin.[1]

Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)[]
Jack in the Box promoted the Sonic the Hedgehog film with Tiny Tacos and #SonicLovesTinyTacos, which had its own Twitter hashtag.[2][3] At the Sonic the Hedgehog Family Day Event on January 25, a Sonic-film themed Jack in the Box food truck was present and selling Tiny Tacos.[4]
