History[]

SU S1E05 Heroes alley

Max with Sonic, Sonia, Manic and the small group of thieves, from "Underground Masquerade".

Max stole a gold statue of Dr. Robotnik from Sleet and Dingo. Sleet began to pursue him on a motorcycle, so the pickpocket asked the Sonic Underground for a ride. They refused at first, but they changed their minds when they noticed Sleet giving chase.[1]

Later, Max hid behind a curtain and videotaped Sleet and Dingo talking about their plan to make off with taxes that they were supposed to give to Robotnik. He used the tape to help the Sonic Underground by proving Manic's innocence, even though he stole a coin from the Duke of Velcronia.[1]

Max and his posse were given homes by the Duke of Velcronia afterwards, and Max joined the Freedom Fighters.[1]
