The Dashing Skill^[1] is a mechanic that appears in Sonic Battle. It is a category of skill-based moves that the playable characters use to determine their dashing movement.

Description[]

Dashing Skills are techniques that allow the user to make a swift movement in one of the eight basic directions during a match. Each individual Dashing Skill is performed in its own unique way.

While all Dashing Skills are the same in function, each one has its own strengths and weaknesses that are determined by two attributes: speed and power. Some even have special mechanics; some provide only a short and straight dash with a minimal range while others can take the playable character far greater distances while moving around in different directions.

To perform a character's Dashing Skill in gameplay, the player has to quickly press twice in the same direction.
