Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, monkey-based
Badnik created by
Dr. Eggman .
Appearance [ ] The Apes are orange monkey-like Badniks with a red nose, gray arms, hands and toes. They also have some resemblance to other monkey Badniks such as Coconuts and Kiki .
Overview [ ] The Apes only appear in Sonic Advance 3 Sunset Hill and Chaos Angel . In gameplay, they swing back and forth on columns, like palm trees and pillars. When the playable character approaches, they will begin dropping purple bombs. Should the playable character touch these bombs, they will take damage. Because the Apes constantly swing back and forth, they are quite difficult to hit with the Spin Jump . If the player does destroy an Ape, they will release a Ring .
