Due to SNK's lack of interest by its pachinko franchises (and consequencetly in their rights), Love Heart and the Sky Love series had their rights sold to Highlights Entertainment in 2016, but the company would file for bankruptcy in 2019. However, SNK appears to be able to use the character in some degree due to her appearance in The King of Fighters XIV, as she made an appearance in SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy two years after the sale to Highlights was made.
Although she appears as a playable character in SNK Heroines, her artwork was not included the game's official digital artbook in the PC and Steam version of the game. However, she can be seen in the Digital Diamond Edition of the game.
Love appears on the KOF Portal website, albeit with the caveat that she's explicitly stated to be a character property of Highlights Entertainment, effectively turning her into a guest character used with their permission.
Love, Mui Mui and Alice Nakata are the only pachinko characters used in SNK's mainline games. Interestingly, all three make a Special Team, the Lucky Sevens Team.
Love is one of the few SNK characters with rights sold to other companies.
Love, along with Mui Mui, does not appear in The King of Fighters: A New Beginning. In Love's case, this is likely due to the Sky Love series being owned by Highlights Entertainment, as already mentioned.
Love, Nakoruru and Mui Mui are the only characters of another worlds and eras to make an appearance in the contemporary timeline series/games (in that case, the KOF series and SNK Heroines).
A remix of Magical Sky, the theme of Team Another World, is used as Love's Theme in SNK Heroines.
