Cyclops Mammoths , also called Beasts and Heavy Beasts in the Nintendo 3DS version, are large, monstrous Cyclopses. They first appeared at Crystal Eye Castle in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. All Cyclops Mammoths in this chapter are located inside the Seeing Towers (both east and west). These beasts like to launch big cumbersome leaps that land with damaging force. Skylanders can avoid damage by staying away and defeating them from afar.
It is much easier to defeat the Cyclops Mammoth if they remain chained to the wooden pole that restricts their powerful pounces to a small area, so leaving the pole untouched is a wise strategic approach. If the pole is destroyed, however, Cyclops Mammoths will relentlessly pursue the Skylanders.
Purple Cyclops Mammoths reappear in Skylanders: Trap Team in the Sunscraper Spire, serving as part of the spire's guardians. Although they retain their behavior from previous appearances, they are no longer leashed and can now be ridden by Cyclops Spinners, which direct the beasts to charge instead of ground slamming.

Trivia
- The Cyclops Mammoths may have been based on a myth about elephant skulls being mistaken for cyclops skulls.
- A concept sketch of a Cyclops Mammoth appears in the Strata art book for Skylanders: Swap Force, suggesting that Cyclops Mammoths were envisioned as one of the potential enemies for Swap Force.[1]
