- “A slice of danger in every throw.”
- —Game description
Axecutioners are cyclops enemies in Skylanders: Giants that possess the ability to teleport and swing their large axes at Skylanders. Like the Ice Ogres, they serve as a subspecies of the Cyclops. Notably, Axecutioners have two eyes, which are both positioned vertically. In the "Empire of Ice" part of Skylanders: Giants, they serve as replacements for the Ice Ogres.

Trivia
- Axecutioners may have been inspirations for Hood Sickle and his species, as both can teleport, use large bladed weaponry, and have hoods/masks.
- There is a glitch that can be performed on Axecutioners to make them “friendly.” To do this, you’ll need Bash with his Tennis Tail upgrade, so he can deflect projectiles will his tail spin attack. Simply wait until the Axecutioner throws his axe, and deflect it with your tail swipe. This will cause the axe to disappear, and the Axecutioner will never get it back. He will now be stuck in his throwing animation, and he won’t attack you. He also won’t move from the spot he was in when the glitch was performed. He’ll remain stuck like this until he is defeated. This glitch can be done on multiple Axecutioners at once. It can only be undone in Glacier Gully. Perform the glitch on the two Axecutioners in the battle just before the ice dome section, then defeat one of the Axecutioners and the Bag ‘O’ Boom. The other Axecutioner will begin moving again, but he’ll now be holding an invisible axe. The axe will turn visible again as soon as he throws it.
- In alpha versions of Giants, Axecutioners were originally called "Biclopses" and modeled as large white Cyclops Choppers with purple axes and fangs. Players could only hit them after they had thrown their axes; otherwise, all Skylander attacks would bounce off the Axecutioners' shields. This early version of Axecutioners also lacked their spinning teleport attack. Instead, they would teleport a short distance, and they had to run forward in order to retrieve their thrown axes.[1] [2]
- Axecutioners' early description was "Size matters." [3]
- In Arena Battles, they’ll sometimes teleport over the bottomless pit surrounding the arena and fall to their deaths.
