Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel[1][2] (born February 19, 1963), better known by his stage name Seal, is an English musician, singer, and songwriter[3]. He has sold more than 20 million records worldwide[4] and is known for his international hits, beginning with his 1991 single "Crazy". His most celebrated single, "Kiss from a Rose", was released in 1994. He was a coach on the Australian version of The Voice in 2012, 2013[5], and 2017.

Seal has won three Brit Awards including Best British Male in 1992, four Grammy Awards[6], and an MTV Video Music Award. As a songwriter, he received two Ivor Novello Awards for Best Song Musically and Lyrically from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors for "Killer" (1990) and "Crazy" (1991)[7].
