Nathan's Famous

Nathan's Famous, Inc. is an American fast food restaurant which specializes in hot dogs. The original Nathan's restaurant stands at the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. It was founded in 1916 by Nathan Handwerker.

The Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest has been held every year on July 4 in Coney Island. Contestants try to eat as many hot dogs as possible in 10 minutes.
