Mariko Miyagi

Mariko Miyagi (宮城 まり子) (March 21, 1927 – March 21, 2020) was a Japanese actress, singer, and activist. She was born in Tokyo. She was known for her roles in Panda and the magic serpent (1958), Ten dark women (1961) and in Barefoot Gen (1977). l

In 2012 Miyagi was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure.

Miyagi died of lymphoma on March 21, 2020 in Tokyo on her 93rd birthday.[1]
