Juan Padrón

Juan Manuel Padrón Blanco (29 January 1947 – 24 March 2020) was a Cuban animation director and comics artist. He is best as the creator of the comic strip Elpidio Valdés. He also directed and wrote the animated movie Vampires in Havana (1985). Padrón directed six animated feature movies. He was born in Matanzas.

On 24 March 2020, Padrón died due to lung disease in Havana. He was 73.[1]
