Descontinuation
[change | change source]In 2016, Hyundai stopped making the Hyundai Genesis. The second generation of the car was renamed the Genesis G80. This was part of Hyundai's plan to make Genesis a separate brand for luxury cars. The Genesis G80 continued to be sold as part of the new Genesis Motor brand.
