The flag of Rio de Janeiro (Portuguese: Bandeira da cidade do Rio de Janeiro) has two diagonal stripes of blue or Saint Andrew's cross with the red coat of arms of Rio de Janeiro city inside a big white rectangle or a white camp. It was adopted in 1908.[1]
