Following a lead that Professor Gilbert might be found at the Rosewll Research Insitute, the party made their way there, and inadvertantly rescued the immortal philospher Roger Bacon - whom the staff believed to be an alien - and Hildegard Valentine, youngest in a long line of vampires, helping them to escape the base.
