Wren Lake

Wren Lake is one of the major event locations in television series, Scream.

It is a lake nearby the small town of Lakewood and is also where the police shot Brandon James after he supposedly murdered five high school students on the night of October 31, 1994. Later, however, it was revealed that Brandon survived his injuries and Maggie Duval and Miguel Acosta helped him escape.

Notes

• In Revelations, Piper Shaw was killed by Emma Duval and Audrey Jensen at the lake.
• In The Vanishing, Zoë was captured and buried alive at the lake by the killer. Later, she was found dead by Emma, Audrey and Noah. She drowned in her Lady Of The Lake dress and sash.
• In The Vanishing, it was revealed that Brandon James survived being shot by the police at the dock.

Trivia

• Wren Lake draws some resemblance to Crystal Lake from the Friday the 13th films. They are also both the final resting place of mass murderers Jason Voorhees, Brandon James and Piper Shaw.
