Entre Ríos is the caipital o the Entre Ríos Municipality, which wis newly established in 2004, the saxt municipal section o Carrasco Province.

The toun is locatit at an elevation o 240 m (787 ft) in the central regions o Bolivie on the left bank o the Ichoa River, which 13 km (8.1 mi) dounstream dischairges intae the Ichilo River.

Entre Ríos is situatit in the Bolivie lawlands on the north-eastren fuithills o the Cordillera Oriental. The region haes an average temperatur o 24 °C, the monthly averages range frae 26 °C (October tae Dizember) tae 20 °C (Juin an Julie). The average yearly precipitation is heicher than 1,000 mm (39 in), wi a wet saison frae November tae Februar an a drier saison wi less nor 50 mm (2 in) per month in Julie an August.[1]

The sma toun is passed bi the 1,657 km (1,030 mi) lang state road Ruta 4, which goes frae Tambo Quemado on the Chilenean border aw throu the kintra tae Puerto Suárez on the Brazilian border.
