Lu Wutang is a member of The Triad. He served as a minor antagonist during the Death Row Prisoners Arc and later supporting character to Taro Sakamoto's gang.
Appearance[]
Lu Wutang is a tall Chinese man. His hair is tied in a French braid. He sports black diamond dot underneath his left eye, and wears long earrings on both side of his ears. He usually dons traditional Changshan combined with black coat and slacks.
Personality[]
Wutang can be seen as a pessimistic person and an unsocial person, but when he sees Lu Shaotang, his mood instantly changes due to his massive crush on her. He also possesses high intelligence, and able to read someone's personality based on their traits and mannerisms.
History[]
When Wutang was 11 years old, he suffered abuse at the hands of fellow Triad members. Lu came to his rescue and defeated the bullies. They then conversed on the rooftop balcony, where Wutang confided to Lu about allowing the mistreatment under the guise of playing the long game. Impressed, Lu praised his intelligence, and told him to keep honing this strength of his. This compliment was what pushed Wutang to climb his way to the top using his brains, eventually managed to become the strategist of the clan.[2] It was also what started his infatuation towards Lu.[3]

- High Intelligence: As we can see in Chapter 35 that Wutang isn’t physically strong but is highly intelligent to the point where he could play blackjack without losing by counting cards.
- Psychological Analysis: Could correctly deduce how Shin's mind reading worked by breaking his power down to working on the conscious, semi-conscious and subconscious level. Then testing his hypothesis by obfuscating his mind with mathematical information to overload Shin's brain. He also correctly deduced Slur's mental state and even gave a reasonable theory on how to resolve it via fusing personalities.
