Availability history

This template is used for item history on pages.

Parameters

location

In the rare instance that the item is not in the catalog, use this parameter to say the location. Defaults to "Avatar Shop".

You should use one of the following values.

• Advertisement: In the rare event of a specific ad or ads that give the item, use this location. An example of this would be the Eggvertisement Egg from the 2013 egg hunt.
• Avatar Shop: This item can be purchased in the Avatar Shop. This parameter is not necessary to provide, as it will default to Avatar Shop. Adds the Items obtained in the Avatar Shop category.
• Limited: This limited[u] item can be purchased in the catalog by other users, and can be resold.
• Game Card: This item can be received as part of a Roblox card. Adds the Gamecard items category.
• In-game: This item can be found in a game. The game should not be linked to in this template, rather in the body of the page. Examples includes items from the Aquaman event. Adds the Items obtained in a game category.
• Promotional Code: At one point in time, redeemable through a promotional code. Adds the Items obtained with a promotional code category.
• Select Users/Select: Items that can only be handed out by Roblox staff. Examples include the Black Iron Domino Crown of Interns and the Thoroughly-Tested Hat of QA. Adds the Items awarded by Roblox employees category.
• Roblox Toy/Toy: This item can be redeemed from a Roblox Toy through a redeemable code. Examples include the Rainbow Barf Face and the Baker's Arsenal. Adds the Toy items category.
• Bundle item/Bundle: This item is part of a bundle. Adds the Bundle items category.

In the event that one of the above options is not valid (for example, Dex: The Trendy Tycoon, text not above can be provided and that will be displayed instead (e.g. "Microsoft Store"). No tooltip will be shown for options not above.

kind

This is the kind of item the article is about. It must be one of these values: “accessory”, “bundle”, “clothing”, “emote”, “face”, “gear”, and “head”.

from

This is used to determine the date the item was available from. Must be a date or “Unknown”.

until

This parameter determines the date the item became offsale. In order for the mouse over to display correctly, this must be Available or Still available if the item is still available (not case sensitive). If the item is unavailable/unobtainable and the date is not known, put Unknown.

from ref

This is a reference for the date provided in the from parameter. Templates like {{cite Roblox Blog}} and {{cite X}} can be used here. The contents of this parameter are wrapped in ref tags and the reference is added after the available from date and the comment.

until ref

This is a reference for the date provided in the until parameter.

from comment

This is a comment about when the item became available. If a date was provided, the comment will be shown in parentheses after the date.

until comment

This is a comment about when the item became unavailable.

Multiple rows

This template allows multiple rows to be created in the history table. To add another row, use the same parameters above but place the number of the row in the parameter.

References and comments can be added to any row: the parameters for this are from2 ref, from3 ref, until2 ref, from2 comment, and so on.
