Furana is a social experience where players can roleplay and customize an anthropomorphic animal character. It is set in on a tropical island that users can explore the many mysteries and quirks of which in turn encourages roleplaying and character development.
Gameplay[]
As soon as users join they are prompted to select a species in which they will proceed to customize. Each species comes with a variety of accessories, markings, hair and clothing options. Along with the cosmetic customization, users are prompted to come up with a character name and description for their unique characters. Players can explore the map, talk with other people or collect coins, which are used for unlocking some species, buying save slots and potions. There's also interactive items, such as beach balls and dices that can be kicked, or a suspicious briefcase, that explodes after a short period upon opening.
Game backstory[]
Furana is a continent located on a living planet, shaped by the shifting tides of the chaos that pillage its every inch. Though the savage stormy winds of war have long since passed, the ancient magic and power of emotion keeps this world buzzing with life. The island, Emerald Atoll is a large landmass who's inhabitants formed Factions that have since thrived and have sworn an oath to protect Furana from the elements of destruction and The Dark and Chaotic. Over the centuries, these brave warriors and their rich cultures have built Furana and it's various islands up - and managed to created individual factions in which to specialize, thrive and grow.
Furana has always been a refuge from the harsh planet. Their legendary creatures often have their own specialties and there are many of them, some of which can harness the powers of magic. They also train their hunting skills in secret with the deadliest creatures around. Despite this, the factions of Furana remain wary of all who would challenge their territory. The older the faction, the greater the respect they command among the people.
Playable species[]
There's currently 33 species available to be played as, and 1 additional species of synx available only for staff. If player is in the group, they can select their size, varying from 0.5 to 1.3. There's two editor options: Detailed Editor and Paintbrush Editor. In Detailed Editor players can select and color each body part from a limited palette and apply a material for it. there's also some accessories, hair and selectable body parts like additional fur, scales or freckles available for customizing each species. In Paintbrush Editor players can use color wheel to select the color they want and immediately apply it to any body part by clicking once.
Players can also choose their RP name and write a description in Nametag tab. There's 9 fonts available for free, 33 additional with better nametag pass and 10 more with V.I.F. game pass. Better nametag pass also allows to color the nametag using any of 24 color presets.
