Horns of the Creature is a hat that was published in the marketplace by Roblox
on October 27, 2018. It could have been purchased for 1,000 Robux and with a timed release of 13-hours, which was later changed to 1 hour and it eventually went off-sale. Now it can be purchased for 8,000 Robux. As of December 5, 2019, it has been purchased 411 times and favorited 7,743 times.
Unintended method of purchase[]
Although it could have been purchased as normal before going off-sale, some made use of an alternate method to obtain the item. Two users named DevSpec and ParaSpec leaked how to obtain the hat for free using an API script that allows users to purchase items by inputting it into their browser's console (mainly Google Chrome).
When the script was input, the hat was obtained for free as long as the user had at least 1,000 Robux in their account. The script was able to be used until Roblox manually took the horns off-sale after multiple attempts to fix the limited. A few also took advantage of this script to purchase multiple copies on the same or alternate accounts.
