“ | My coffin is a walking grave, how preposterous! I'll lead a posthumous parade, so cacophonous! How pompous a display, did I say I'm a narcissist? No wonder why I hate to stay anonymous. | „ |
~ The Mimic |
“ | I'm not a person - I've just been impostin' him! Call me the "big bad", I'm one more blow from bustin' in! | „ |
~ The Mimic |
The Mimic is the main protagonist of the JT Music song Reflection and the deuteragonist of its sequel, Lovely Things.
Like his mainstream incarnation, he is an artificial intelligence that was designed to mimic human behavior but ended up learning to be aggressive by its creator Edwin Murray. At some point after this it witnessed and began studying William Afton's crimes. Unlike the original games, the song full characterizes the Mimic as not being a robot following its programming but instead a fully sentient being that is a narcissist, harboring a desire to replace Afton and be seen as the "real" version of him.
He is voiced by Christian Ames.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He was originally designed to be a robotic assistant, but ended up studying the crimes committed by William Afton, and goes on a brutal killing spree.
- He went on to adopt Afton's face by taking the form of the Spring Bonnie costume and luring children to their deaths in the same way that Afton did when he was alive.
- Approached Fazbear Pizzaplex and murdered people at the Fazbear Pizzaplex and trapping three of his victims' souls in the wet floor bots around the establishment.
- He corrupted and controlled the Glamrock animatronics, as well as the Daycare Attendant in order to turn them into hostile killing machines.
- He brainwashed Vanessa into being his puppet and made her to kill people,
- After being sealed by the M.X.E.S program, he manipulates Cassie into freeing him and it's assumed he tried to kill her.
- While "Lovely Things" implied he was beaten up by Edwin horribly and causes him to be a violent monster, it's not played for sympathy by the narrative, as he killed innocent people who have nothing to do with his tragedy.
- He commits the same crimes that his canon counterpart did.
Trivia[]
- He is so far the only version of Mimic to be Pure Evil.
