The Slender Man is the titular main antagonist of the 2012 horror game Slender: The Eight Pages along with its 2013 remake/sequel Slender: The Arrival. He is a sadistic, omniscient demon that has existed for centuries, tormenting and killing humans as a depraved hobby that he will continue until the end of time itself with no one able to stop him.
He was voiced by an uncredited Mark J. Hadley, who also voiced SCP-106 in SCP: Containment Breach.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Like his original version, despite being enigmatic, he is shown to be very malicious and commits multitudes of depraved acts purely out of sadism; seeing the death and torment of humans as a game.
- Confirmed to be responsible for centuries of disappearances; making his body count ambiguous but heavily implied to be massive.
- He abducted Charlie Matheson (who was a child at the time) and then tortured and mutilated him; turning him into an emaciated corpse-like creature that is stated to be in constant pain.
- Assisted in the suicide of Charlie Matheson's father.
- Was technically responsible for the suicide of Carl Ross as he self-immolated himself in an attempt to get rid of the Slender Man as he learned that the Slender Man can only exist if people know about his existence.
- Kidnapped Kate and mind-raped her into becoming one of his proxies (turning her into the Chaser) after tormenting her as she collected 8 pages.
- Mercilessly pursues and torments Lauren throughout the game (the fact that this interpretation of Slender Man fully understands the dread he's causing makes this a factor).
- Has Charlie either kidnap or kill Lauren after she is trapped in a dead end, either mind raping her into becoming a proxy, or killing her himself.
- He never faces any punishment for his crimes and gets off scot-free.
- In a secret level, he burns a helpless victim alive purely out of sadism before killing her.
