Ritchie Doucet is a supporting antagonist in the 2016 video game Mafia III.

He was portrayed by Matt Lowe in motion capture.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He is the leader of the Dixie Mafia, a gang of white supremacist southerners who display racist views towards African Americans and commit a series of crimes against them, namely forcing black girls into sex slavery and keeping Delray Hollow residents addicted to smack.
  • Takes part in Sal Marcano's betrayal of the Black Mob, resulting in the deaths of Lincoln's adopted father, Sammy, and his adopted brother, Ellis, as well as his friend Danny Burke.
    • He personally stabs Ellis to death in his establishing character moment.
  • As boss, he bears ultimate responsibility for the wrongdoing of his gang members.
  • As a reward for participating in the destruction of the Black Mob, Ritchie is given control over the Delray Hollow district of New Bordeaux, where he sets up his own heroin and prostitution rackets. He even renames Perla's, a theater named after Sammy's deceased wife, to Doucet's and turns it into a brothel.
  • Abducts black women, gets them addicted to heroin, and then forces them into sex slavery for white patrons.
  • When his last hour has come, he is confronted by Lincoln Clay, whom he first accuses of stealing heroin and being a hired gun for Giorgi Marcano (whom he had a falling out due to inability to kick up as a result of the loss of his rackets). When Lincoln says he is has come to avenge his brother, Ritchie realizes that Lincoln survived the massacre and burning of Sammy's bar. Ritchie uses the old "I was just following orders" excuse by claiming that the killings and arson were Sal Marcano's idea. Ritchie uses a cowardly justification for his sins by expressing his fear of the Marcanos and saying "What was I supposed to do, say no?"
