Hunter is a supporting antagonist in Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series by Archie Comics. He is an Overlander Poacher who seeks out worthy prey to Hunt and kill for sport. After being defeated by his prey Knuckles he would be forced to join the Eggman Empire and would attempt to obtain the Master Emerald and slaughter as many Echidnas as he could.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is a sadistic poacher and hunter who has hunted and murdered many Mobians over the years and kept their heads as trophies on his yacht.
- He shot and killed the defenseless bird called Snowpigeon when first arriving on Angel Island.
- He kidnaps Knuckles and his childhood bully, Monk, and forces them to be hunted by Hunter and threatened to kill Knuckle's love interest, Julie-Su, if he does not comply.
- He killed Monk during the hunt and attempted to do the same to Knuckles.
- He was ordered by Eggman to obtain the Master Emerald, instead he spent time sending hundreds of Echidnas to the Egg Grapes which would fry their mind and force them to be endlessly tortured being used as fuel for the Eggman Empire which he did out of pure sadism, something even Eggman chastised him for. 
- During this, he also expressed his intent to hunt down every Echidna, personally showing that he is genocidal as well.
- He mocked Knuckles during their final fight, calling him weak and attempted to kill him and claim his head as a trophy.
- While the heinous standard of Archie Sonic is high, Hunter stands out due to his lower resources and brutality by keeping the heads of his victims and putting hundreds of Echidna in a Fate Worse than the death of his own volition and wanting to wipe out their race as well.
