Samantha "Sam" LaRusso is the daughter of Karate Kid hero Daniel LaRusso and his wife Amanda LaRusso and one of the main heroes in Cobra Kai. Samantha is the older sister of Anthony LaRusso, the grand-niece of Louie LaRusso Sr., and the granddaughter of David and Lucille LaRusso. In season 2, she becomes one of the new students of LaRusso's Miyagi-Do school of Karate. In addition, she is Miguel Diaz's love interest in season 1 and, despite breaking up with him at the end of the season, she still has feelings for him in season 2 despite being in a relationship with Robbie Keene. She becomes Miguel Diaz's love interest again in Season 3. She is portrayed by Mary Mouser.
Personality[]
Despite hanging out with the popular kids in Season 1, Samantha has been shown to act nothing like them, instead choosing to be nice and smart. After seeing Kyler, her then boyfriend, bullying Miguel Diaz, Demitri, and Hawk, she breaks up with him because she doesn't tolerate bullying. This has, however strained her relationship with Aisha Robinson. One of the more complicated aspects about Samantha would be her relationships. After she forms a friendship with Robby near the end of season 1, Miguel accidentally hits Samantha causing them to break up. Despite this, there is evidence that she still has feelings for Miguel, such as in the episode "Pulpo" where, after beating Tory in a drinking contest, she accidentally kisses Miguel at the party.

- Exploding Uppercut: Samantha crouches down and sends a vicious electrically-charged uppercut to her defeated opponent, blowing them up into pieces.
- Electrocution 1: Samantha grabs her opponent, holds them a few feet off the ground, and sends electricity into their body, which causes them to explode like a balloon.
- Electrocution 2: Samantha lodges his hands into her opponent's stomach, lifts them over her head, and sends surges of electricity into their body, making them explode like a balloon.
- Bo Staff Shock: Samantha calls for her bo staff, lodges the end into her opponent's stomach, lifts them up and shocks them until they're perished.
