Whether being cornered on a boat for a disastrous fishing trip by her Dad, CHAMINDA, being caught by HARSHANI, the sister, in a compromising situation with an ex-girlfriend, or being led astray (Arrack, anyone?) by PAMU, the wayward brother, Rick has barely beaten the jet-lag when his world is turned upside down. As their relationship starts to feel the strain, Rick and Shanaya realise that its not just their different cultures that divide them. Can a young couple in love survive the odds - and an out of control game of beach cricket- to find true love at Christmas? Will the family ever accept Rick is good enough for their beloved Shanaya?
