Cool Explosions Only is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Gnome Bomb where players can only play as Peashooter, Kernel Corn, and Snapdragon on the plants team or Foot Soldier, Super Brainz, and 80s Action Hero on the zombies team.

Mechanics[]

This game mode functions identically to Gnome Bomb, except that a limited number of classes are available. You can only play as Peashooter, Kernel Corn, Snapdragon, Foot Soldier, Super Brainz, and 80s Action Hero.

Description[]

Cool dudes don't usually look at explosions, but with so many going off it's hard not to. Bombs, Beans, and Fireballs go BOOM this week!

Weekly challenges[]

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

1. Win a Match
2. Get Vanquishes (x20)
3. Win Matches (x3)

We need more gems and sprouts.

Note that every class available is an Attack class, meaning you have no defense or support.

Trivia[]

• The game incorrectly says "win a Match" for challenge #3 instead of "Win Matches", despite the challenge requiring more than one match to be completed.
