A new challenge and a reminder that there is a Christmas theme this time around!
As we forewarned, the next two challenges are designated 'Christmas in July' - each with a bundle of lovely Christmas goodies to be won.
All we ask of you, our playmates, is that your snippets entry has a Christmas theme AND that you stick to the few rules we have and please do tell us what snippets you used.
Here is my festive snippets card:
All the details of how I made it, as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate', are over on Pixie's HERE (the little Pickle excelled himself this past week!).
As previously mentioned, the prize for this fortnight comprises a selection of Christmas themed goodies.
They're self-explanatory and are two Memory Box dies, two Woodware stamps/stamp sets and two sentiment die sets. The Gemini 'Merry Christmas' stamps and die set was kindly donated by Linby. I loved it so much that I rushed off and bought one for myself! Everything else is stuff bought for the Toybox since our last Christmas in July challenges.
By the way, my snippets card for today used my own set of the Woodware 'Christmas Sparkle' sentiment stamps - I really love it and am sure you will too!
As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday, 22nd July (which also happens to be Dudley's 5th Birthday!). The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post. Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw. Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays nicely and fairly.
Brilliant Christmas card Di.
ReplyDeleteFab bundle of prizes for one lucky winner too. Good luck playmates x
Absolutely fabulous card Di just playing for fun x
ReplyDeleteFabulous CAS card, DI! Love those ornamental bulbs!
ReplyDeleteSee you later with my homework
Happy Sunday!
I love your festive sparkly Christmas card Di! The prizes are fabulous this week and good luck to everyone, but I'm just playing for fun.
ReplyDeleteYes, please to the prize. Great card and terrific prizes! (I'm sorry my card is posting sideways. I can't seem to fix it :)
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne. Lovely card - I also tried to fix the sideways image problem but Mr Linky wasn't playing ball. I DID however notice that your file size was huge and that might be part of it - although you've been fine in the past I know.. It's always best to reduce your file size using something like GIMP or similar image management software as Blogger can clog up on you and say you've used up too much storage. I don't think it's so much of an issue these days but it did impact on people years ago. As I said - a super card and it's only the thumbnail that's sideways. Later on when I have time I might tinker and resize your image in GIMP at this end to see if it IS the issue - don't worry though - I can always go back and leave things as they are now. Hugs
