The Tumbling Maloov is an enemy in Pikmin E: Remastered. It is a large, wheel-like creature with two bright, yellow eyes on each side of the center of itself. The 'wheel' itself is covered in a sticky, dark green, moss-like substance. It aimlessly rolls around in closed-in areas, bouncing off of walls or occasionally sticking to them. While rolling around, it may crush Pikmin in its path. Inapt Pikmin will become stuck to the substance of its outer shell, so attacking the eye, which is its weak spot, is most recommended. Upon defeat, all of the sticky substance on it dissolves and melts into the earth below.

- “Remove the eyes, then slowly cut off the stalks from its body. Toss the main piece, then cut off the pads on the end of each stalk. Cook all the stalks at a relatively high temperature. If properly prepared, could serve as an alternative to breadsticks.”

The Tumbling Maloov is an enemy appearing in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. It is a creature that is shaped like a big wheel and has two yellow eyes on each side of its center, covered in sticky green slime. It aimlessly rolls around inside caves, bouncing off walls, and crushing any Pikmin that are caught underneath it. Thrown Pikmin will also get stuck on its sticky slime unless they are thrown directly at the creature's eyes, which are its weak spot. When defeated, most of the slime dissolves into the earth, allowing its internal shell to be carried.

- “The tumbling maloov demonstrates a natural phenomenon called neoteny, in which traits that are typically seen only in juvenile specimens are retained throughout the creature's entire life. This massive animal is more or less a scaled-up version of the typical sludge-shell larva, with a tightly curled body that secretes a thick, slippery fluid. Like a wheel covered in flypaper, it needs only to roll over edible material to absorb it into its slimy covering, where it is quickly redistributed towards its mouth by the creature's constant rolling motion.”
