The Sproil is a tiny creature in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze that creates an oily bubble around itself for protection. They are easily defeated by Pikmin, so they will gather together to amass into clusters of many Sproils surrounded by a single large bubble. With the tables sufficiently turned, the Sproil colony will set about trying to engulf Pikmin in their slippery shield by bouncing around the area. However, well-timed Pikmin throws will eventually break the Sproil into two smaller, weaker Sproils, which can then be further split into individual Sproils completely separated from each other. A lone Sproil dies in one hit and leaves a carcass that is not worth much, although the combined worth of the entire colony equates to eight Pikmin seeds.
