Disney Television Animation (DTVA) is an American animation studio dedicating to creating, developing and producing animated television series, films, specials and other projects. It is the TV animation production arm of the Disney Channels Worldwide, a division of Walt Disney Television, ultimately owned by The Walt Disney Company.
It was established in 1984 as The Walt Disney Pictures Television Animation Group, then shortened to Walt Disney Television Animation in 1987, before changing to its current title in 2011.
