A stone chomp is a Chain Chomp made of stone. They are found inside Dry Dry Ruins and have very high defense. They are slightly stronger than the average Chain Chomp. Mario will encounter them after placing and taking artifacts; they will come out of the wall and startle Mario, engaging in a mini-boss fight.
