Auguste the Playwright is an enemy in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. He is the first phase of the final boss battle of Master of Fame's Chapter III.

Battle[]

• Fatal Sentence: Inflict Fatal Sentence (The traveler will be not able to fight at the end of the effect turn) to single target for 7~4 turns. Effect is removed upon break.
• Attack - Deal standard physical damage to single target.
• Passion: Deal damage to single target.
• Rhythm Unto Quietus: Deal damage to random target 3 time(s). Inflict Poison (The target will take elemental damage at the end of their turn), Paralysis (The target has a certain chance of being unable to act) and Sleep (The target will be unable to act until a turn has passed or they take damage) with every attack for 3 turns.
• Widespread Fury: Deal damage to Front.
• Muzzling Meter: Deal damage to Front. Inflict Silence (The target will be not able to use one skill) for 4 turns.
• Toxic Dust: Inflict Poison (The target will take elemental damage at the end of their turn) to Front for 4 turns.
• Auguste's resistance to attack outside of his weak points have increased!: Impart self with permanent Dagger Res. Up , Axe Res. Up , Staff Res. Up , Tome Res. Up , Fan Res. Up , Fire Res. Up , Lightning Res. Up , Light Res. Up  and Dark Res. Up .
• Time for the curtain to fall!: At 25% HP or less. Auguste the Playwright enters boost mode. Uses In my script, you perform last! or And now the grand finale! if he isn't broken before his next action.

  • And now the grand finale!: Deal damage to Front. Inflict Fatal Sentence (The traveler will be not able to fight at the end of the effect turn) for 7~4 turns. Effect is removed upon break.
