Teardrop (abbreviated TD), labeled The Mute is a female contestant in Battle for Dream Island, Battle for Dream Island Again, Battle for BFDI, and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.

In BFDI, she was on the Squashy Grapes, but was eliminated in "Crybaby" because Snowball has been chosen by the Squishy Cherries instead of her.

In BFDIA, she was originally on, Team No-Name and was forced to switch to W.O.A.H. Bunch. She was eliminated in "Zeeky Boogy Doog", making her the first season 1 contestant voted off the second season.

In IDFB, she had a chance to rejoin the show. She got 1,598 votes, placing her 4th.

In BFB, Teardrop competed on, and competed on the Have Cots until BFB 24, when the merge happened. She was eliminated in BFB 29.

In TPOT, Teardrop joins in "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", competing on a team by herself as punishment for joining late.

Appearance

Teardrop appears to be a drop of lacrimal fluid, the fluid produced when eyes water, cleaning pathogens. Her outline is cyan, and her inside is azure, which gets lighter towards the center. When Teardrop is at her evaporation stage, she is a very light azure, which is hardly ever seen.

Personality

Teardrop's personality is/has been shrouded in mystery as she is either unable to speak or prefers not to do so. However, she is portrayed as slightly competitive and fairly smart.

Teardrop can also be considered enthusiastic and impulsive, as seen in "Take the Plunge: Part 1", when she kicked Woody without thinking about the consequences, and when she pushed Rocky from the balance beam at full speed, causing her to fall off too. In "Today's Very Special Episode", this is showcased when she excitedly jumps at Four in an attempt to make-over him. Her impulsiveness is also demonstrated in "Zeeky Boogy Doog", when she quickly chose the HPRC over the immunity into the final 15 without even thinking twice after being told she didn't need it. This also shows how she isn't hard to persuade.

Teardrop tends to get picked on and hassled by the other contestants because she doesn't speak. She seems to often be testy with her inability to speak and also doesn't do so even when it puts her in danger, such as when Liy attempted to make her speak by forcing Ice Cube to wiggle her vocal cords, which clearly caused Teardrop discomfort. This shows that she possibly doesn't choose to remain silent.

Teardrop could also be considered mischievous, as seen in "The Four is Lava" when she has a happy thought of breaking windows with a hammer.

In Star-Bling BFDI, Teardrop has an insecure side. The reason she is mischievous is because nobody has ever appreciated her, and she is easy to upset, as shown in Star-Bling BFDIA 2, where she was completely dejected when Pin mocks her by saying she isn't a real contestant, and was depressed when Coiny insulted her when she was eliminated. This all changed when she was chosen to be the first BFDIA rejoiner by FreeSmart, and come Star-Bling BFDIA 8, she actively helps FreeSmart paint the Yoyle Needy pink, and when the team won, Ruby hugs Teardrop, making Ruby the first person to ever give Teardrop something she has long wished to get: appreciation.

Since then, Teardrop became a loyal FreeSmarter, and is willing to defend the team from those who will try to wrong them. Though sometimes prone to going rogue, Teardrop does have her heart in the right place, it's just that the others are looking for trouble by purposefully provoking her and her team. In fact, Ruby is the first to actively defend Teardrop from Liy's attempts at forcing her to talk. Also she admires Ice Cube just like Bracelety, whom she forms an alliance with. She also joined TPOF during the split to join FreeSmart Again and FreeSmart Reprise.

Powers and Abilities

Teardrop is known for her unique abilities, such as:

• Lasers: Teardrop is shown to be able to fire lasers from her fingers, although only in the episode "Zeeky Boogy Doog" and TPOT 2 . The lasers don't appear very harmful, only leaving a scorch mark on the Challenge Wheel. So far, she has only used it as an alternative means to communicate.
• Water absorption: Teardrop is shown to be able to absorb tears into her body. They don't appear to affect her drastically, only making her smile.
• Oxygen independence: In "A Taste of Space", Teardrop is shown to be perfectly fine even with the absence of oxygen while the rest of her teammates struggled to breathe. She remained silent and still and when awarded air, she simply sniffed.
• Wallrunning: In "The Hidden Contestant", Teardrop was able to walk up the BRB, holding Profily. Teardrop was also able to walk up the BRB in "Chapter Complete" to go after Four. Gelatin also implies that she's the only one who can do this.
• Amalgamation: In "Fishes and Dishes", when Teardrop dives in the Goiky Canal, her body merges with the water, allowing her to move with ease in the water. She also combines with a cloud in "The Seven Wonders of Goiky".
• Splitting: In "Fishes and Dishes", Teardrop splits into seven smaller droplets of herself, until they merge into one.
• Malleability: In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Teardrop was able to squeeze her body in between the small crevice that Lightning left behind in the canal, since she is made of water. We see her using this ability again in "Outbreak At Stake" when she enters Basketball's lab through a vent.
• Immunity to zombies: Despite merging with the lava-contaminated barf, Teardrop easily shook it off, and even cured the zombies using herself.

Weaknesses

• Extreme heat: In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", she was seen evaporating and dying due to how hot the World's Largest Oven is.
• Lack of physical strength: Teardrop struggles to pick up a shovel as a background detail throughout "Return of the Rocket Ship", in which she is a relatively minor character. This episode takes place in real time, so one can calculate her prolonged, failed attempt as being around eight minutes long.
• Vomit: In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", she appears to get sick after absorbing Barf Bag’s vomit and struggles to move. However, this might have been an act as she had enough strength to push off Eraser, But In "Outbreak At Stake" she dies from the vomit to cure the zombies.
