Elphie thanks

Hello friends!

As mentioned in my previous post here, I am back with another card I made for the current Lawnfawnatics challenge. The challenge theme is to CASE yourself. You can check the card which I have CASED here.

My current card

The card I cased!

This is my second CASE of that card. You can check the First CASE here
For this card, I used all the same elements from my previous card. I just played around the elements a little differently this time.
The Elephant image and the thank you sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set. Balloons are from the year four stamp set. Rainbow paper is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. The sentiment is stamped with various coloured LF dye inks.
Here, I have popped the image on a white panel which is mounted over a strip of rainbow paper. Multicoloured sentiment stamped on three sides.

Two more pictures!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hippo Birdie Thanks

Hello friends!!!

I have a "Thank you" card to share with you today. Some of you may have already seen a similar card made by me some time back. You can check it out here. I had made this card for the LawnFawnatics challenge back then.
And the reason for making a similar card again is the current Lawn fawnatics challenge, where the theme is to "CASE Yourself".

In fact, I Cased two cards from the same design. Sharing the first one here.
The other one will follow in the next blog post.

Here's my current card!!

My previous card!! You can check out the post here

For my current card, I have used the Year four stamp set. I replace the Elphie from my previous card with a Hippo and a cute birdie. All the images are from the Year four stamp set. Rainbow paper is from the Perfectly Plaid paper pack and the "thank you" sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set.
I have used the Lawn Fawn dye ink cubes for the multicolour stamping.

Few more pictures!!

Thank you for stopping by.
Do check out my next post!!

DAD - Captain of my heart

Hello Crafty friends!

With Father's day just three days away, I am sure you all must be busy making cards for it.
I was so tied up with my other commitments that I couldn't find time to make one till today.
Finally after a lot of brain-storming session(this went on for many days as I have been planning these cards for more than a week now) I came up with this card.

I have used a lot of sentiment stamps for making the background.
This is a super easy technique, seen a lot many times in use.

My concept here was to use all sentiments that would be descriptive of a father-figure.
A father is always a role-model who rule the hearts of all the family members. The hard-work and the efforts by  him are always noteworthy.
For the sentiments here, I went through my entire stash of stamps and collected all the possible ones that would reflect today's Dad. On a white card stock, I stamped  all the sentiments one by one, using  dye inks by Lawn Fawn.  Also stamped few tiny images in between to make it little more interesting.
I kept the center portion blank as I had planned to place my main sentiment there.
Foam mounted this panel on a white card base.
I die-cut the word DAD using the LLD little alphabet dies by My Favorite Things (MFT). Stacked 4 of them to make it dimensional. I stacked 3 layers of white and topped it with a black die-cut. (I had initially planned to keep the word in white, but changed my mind and finally made it black to pop it against the busy background)
I stamped the main sub-sentiment "captain of my heart" using Versafine Onyx black ink. Later adhered the word using liquid glue.

That's all from my end today.

Your feedback is what helps me in improvising my work.
Thank you!

Happy Holi

Hi Friends!
So, I am sharing one more card made in the theme of Holidays for Time-out challenges.
I am again playing along with their optional twist of OLC.

Holi is a festival full of colours. It is a Spring festival widely celebrated in India.
It signifies the victory of good over evil.
The festival may not exactly fall under the category of "Holidays" as it is celebrated only on one particular day. But yes... The day is marked as a holiday across India.

Here's my card for the same.

I have used the Prima Marketing Spills cling stamp set.
Stamped the image repeatedly using Lawn Fawn dye inks on a side folding white card base. . Stamped the sentiment from a stamp set by Craftyscrappers.

Few more pictures!

Season's Greetings!

Hello friends!

Here I am with a CAS Christmas card on my blog today.
I know it is too early to start off with the Christmas cards...lol... But I made this card for the Time-out challenges where the theme this time is "Holidays - with an optional twist of One layer card"

So I planned to make a Christmas card for this challenge and also to play along with their optional twist.

Here's my card!

I have used the Christmas Decor stamp set by Mudra.
I took a white side folding card base. I stamped the snowflake stamp from the set using some Lawn Fawn dye inks. Stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink.
I added the clear Nuvo drops to the centre of the snowflakes to give them some shiny effect.
