One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum is a 2D fighting game of the One Piece franchise for the Nintendo 3DS. Similar to Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, it has a large roster of support characters in tandem with the main cast and major villains as fighters. The online multiplayer for the game is compatible with Extreme Butoden.
The game is a 2D fighter where the player can choose up to 3 fighters against another player. The player can trade in a fighter for supports which bring in a character for an attack or a buff.
