Light Arrows are a recurring item in The Legend of Zelda series, first appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It is a charm that let's Link imbue his arrows with holy magic. They are a manifestation of the light and time magic of Hyrule's royal family, particularly Princess Zelda. Light Arrows are one of the strongest items in the Zelda series, capable of taking out most monsters in one shot are one of the few things capable of harming Ganon and other high ranking demon lords. They are typically obtained very late in the game often from Princess Zelda herself or are wielded by her when she fights beside Link.
In Super Smash Bros. series[]
Light Arrows appear as Princess Zelda and Sheik's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. After grabbing a Smash Ball the princess uses her magic to create a golden bow and arrows out of light that flies straight forward and is almost always and instant K.O. If playing as Sheik the way the opponent is thrown is different then the way Zelda's enemies and thrown.
