Asa Shumskas Tait is an American director and the Head of Production at LEGO.[1] He is an executive producer of Ninjago beginning with The Island and later the sequel series Dragons Rising.[2]
He was also responsible for the direction and production of Ninjago: Decoded alongside J. Rick Castañeda.

- Speaking about the production of Decoded, Tait stated: "For the upcoming Season 8 of the hit series "Ninjago" LEGO needed a way to bring new fans up to speed while still engaging existing viewers. We created a 10 part series that explores the lore, characters, and world of "Ninjago" in the context of a brand new story centered around the Ice Ninja, Zane, and a villain from his past."[3]
