S.C. Ruffey often referred to as Scruffey is the main antagonist of the Thomas & Friends episode Toad Stands By and of the Railway Series story of the same name in the book: Oliver the Great Western Engine. He is the leader of the Troublesome Trucks who sang a Mean Spirted song about Oliver after he had Returned from the works after some trucks had pushed him into a turn table well.

In the UK Dub he was voiced by the late Michael Angelis and by the late George Carlin in the US Dub.

Biography[]

After Oliver returned from the works after having been pushed by Trucks into a turn table well he was worried about using them. To make matters worse, the Trucks were singing a song about Oliver making fun of him of which S.C. Ruffey lead the course of. Later Toad came up with a plan to teach him a lesion. Later Oliver shunted a train of trucks and put S.C. Ruffey and as pulled the trucks held him back however, Oliver kept pulling cause S.C. Ruffy was groaning in pain as he was being pulling apart until his frames snap and he becomes damaged.  

Appearance[]

S.C. Ruffey is a 5-Plank Open Wagon with the words S.C. RUFFEY & Co. BALLAST CONTRACTORS TIDMOUTH SODOR on his sides. He is shown to have one large tooth.

Personality[]

Like the other trucks he is childish and has a unpleasant habit of cause problems for the other engines.

Trivia[]

  • In the TV show he is put back together after being ripped apart. However, in the book he was scrapped.
  • He would have been in the villains wiki if he hadn't learned from his mistakes.
