Albert is the overarching protagonist of the Railway Series story Thomas and Victoria. He was the Engine who took Victoria and Helena back on the Furness railway.
Albert worked with his two coaches Victoria and Helena on the Lakeside branch line of the Furness Railway. One winter he was late due to snow fall. At some point in the journey he stopped at a tunnel before the guard blew his whistle and Albert set off into the tunnel, only to be buried under some snow as well as his coaches. He was careful around snow after this incident. Is it unknown if he is still alive by the time of The Railway Series.

Albert is a FR j1 class painted in Furness red. He has 8 wheels and the letters F.R on his side.
Personality[]
Albert has some character traits in common with Thomas. While he is described as kind and polite he was also over confident and impulsive.
