"Jeff Gorvette is one of the greatest American racecars alive today. Donning the stars and stripes of his country's flag, the #24 Corvette C6.R has proven his ability to succeed on the big ovals and the road courses of the Grand Touring Sports circuits. Having moved from his hometown of Vallejo, California to Indiana to be closer to the racing world, Gorvette's ability to accelerate at such a young age has turned hoods wherever he competes. His championships and number of victories are unmatched, making him a respected competitor-and legitimate threat-at the World Grand Prix."

He initially appears in the film greeting Lightning McQueen at the Tokyo welcoming party alongside Lewis Hamilton. He overhears Mater and the Zen Master conversing. He participates in the Radiator Springs race as well as the other three. In every race, he avoided being struck by the lemons' camera. He qualified in fourth place for the World Grand Prix Tokyo and finished in fifth place when the race concluded. However, as we can see, Nigel Gearsley placed fifth at the end. Rather than Nigel Gearsley, Jeff was spotted in fifth place during the Porto Corsa event. He was also visible in the eighth position later in the second section. Jeff Gorvette and Lewis Hamilton were in last place with a few meters remaining in the Porto Corsa race. However, he and Lewis Hamilton were not able to complete the race due to Shu Todoroki's major collision blocking the course. He and Lewis were the only racers that avoided the major collision. Jeff was observed pursuing Nigel Gearsley from sixth to fifth place in the most recent race held in London. He tells Lewis, just before the Radiator Springs race, that he believes they ought to do it annually. He and Lewis had been positioned next to each other during the race.

Cars 3 has an appearance by Jeff Gorvette. In an interview conducted prior to the Florida 500, he wishes McQueen well. Gorvette, who has the most top -10 finishes of any racer, is retired at the time of the events in the movie. He no longer has the US Flag design, WGP logos, or numbers on his livery. However, flames instead.
