Chun-Li is one of the main characters of the long running Street Fighter franchise, being one of its deuteragonist.
An incredibly powerful martial artist, Chun-Li became a police officer at Interpol to avenge her father, the one who taught her to fight and had a strong bond with her, by tracking down the ones who killed him: the criminal organization of Shadaloo, especially the mind behind it, Mister Bison, her arch nemesis.
She first appeared in Street Fighter 2: The World Fighter, serving as the first female character of the franchise alongisde Cammy White. To this day, she is the most popular female character of the whole franchise, and one of the most famous female characters in all of gaming.
In Japanese, she has been voiced by has been voiced by Yūko Miyamura, Atsuko Tanaka, Michiko Neya, Mari Jitsukawa, Yumi Tōma, Chisa Yokoyama, Miki Fujitani, Rika Fukami, Riisa Naka and currently Fumiko Orikasa. In English, she has been voiced by Donna Yamamoto, Lia Sargent, Junie Hoang, Tamara Lo, Vanessa Prokunski, Laura Bailey, Ashly Burch and currently Jennie Kwan.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She has a very welcoming and nice personality, being usually kind with everybody.
- She always had a close and loving relationship with her father, being devastated when he died.
- She also has a strong and great friendship with her best friend, Cammy White, and agreed to help Cammy after she got freed from Bison's control.
- She also has friendships with many of the heroes in the series, such as Ken, Ryu, Guile, Sakura, etc.
- She went on a long search to find out who had killed her father.
- She becomes a police officer to track down her father's murderers, Shadaloo, but also to keep law and order and save innocent lives.
- She teamed up with Guile and Charlie to attack Shadaloo and put an end to it once and for all.
- While she vows revenge on M. Bison, it is understandable, and she never lets it take over her head, putting her duties and responsibilities first, always.
- Shows care and sympathize for Guile losing his best friend, Charlie.
- Aside from Shadaloo, she also fought the evil organization known as S.I.N
- Managed to take down Shadaloo once and for all.
- While she doesn't have a good relationship with Juri, she is willing to work with her and put their rivalry aside. She even tries to redeem her at some point and sympathises with her.
- Retired from Street Fighting so she can teach a whole new generation of kids how to grow up to be an amazing martial artist like her.
- She offered help to Ken when he got framed and went broke, helping him solve the case and get his money back.
- She adopted Li-Fen, a once lost little girl, and now looks after her as a loving adoptive mother.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She has some lethal moments. Her fighting style is incredibly violent and even lethal, and she can be very brutal when she gets competitive in street fighting or when someone insults her pride as an officer, which has led her to fighting others purely because of her pride being insulted.
