Gaius Claudius Glaber is one of the main villains of the Spartacus series, the first archenemy of Spartacus. He was a Roman military leader, legatus, praetor.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He kidnaps Spartacus' wife and sells her to a Syrian
- He offers to execute six Thracians in the arena
- He kills all of the fleeing, unarmed rebels, captures Aurelia, and declares that he wants to interrogate the injured, tortured woman by force.
- He orders Ashur to cut out the mark of Batiatus' house from his arm.
- He persuades Varinius and the others to sacrifice a gladiator prisoner
- He smashes Albinius's head with a beam.
- For no reason, he crucified a female slave to send a message to his wife and Spartacus.
- He orders Ashur and his gang to kill Seppius' entire house. He choke the injured Seppius to death with his boot and he taunts him about how his men are now his.
- He cuts Ovillus' throat because he complained to him that Ashur had crucified Marcia.
