In the Kitchen with Miss Piggy is a celebrity cookbook compiled by Miss Piggy in 1996. A portion of the proceeds from the book were donated to Citymeals-on-Wheels, a nonprofit organization in New York City that delivers meals to homebound elderly people.

The book's format is a spoof of a 1994 book by Oprah Winfrey's personal chef, In the Kitchen with Rosie: Oprah's Favorite Recipes. Miss Piggy's introduction begins: "When I was approached to write this cookbook, moi thought: Why not? If Oprah can do it..." The book's conceit is that Winfrey got someone else to write her cookbook, so Miss Piggy does the same, by soliciting recipes from her many celebrity friends.

The book has a ten-page introduction by Miss Piggy which is reminiscient of her 1981 bestseller, Miss Piggy's Guide to Life. Piggy also comments on each recipe, discussing her personal relationship with each celebrity. The book is illustrated with photos of the food, the celebrities, and Miss Piggy in fashionable outfits.

The celebrities who contributed recipes are: Andre Agassi, Maya Angelou, Lauren Bacall, Harry Belafonte, Ben and Jerry, Candice Bergen, Tom Brokaw, Betty Buckley, Barbara Bush, Glenn Close, Katie Couric, Tim Curry, Plácido Domingo, Clint Eastwood, Harvey Fierstein, Jodie Foster, Pierre Franey, James Galway, Whoopi Goldberg, Tipper Gore, Gael Greene, Melanie Griffith, Bryant Gumbel, Lena Horne, Lauren Hutton, Samuel L. Jackson, James Earl Jones, Donna Karan, Kermit the Frog, Larry King, Ed Koren, Charles Kuralt, Matt Lauer, Robin Leach, Yo-Yo Ma, Paul Newman, Frank Oz, Tony Randall, Diane Sawyer, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Willard Scott, Gene Shalit, Brooke Shields, Beverly Sills, Jean Stapleton, Mary Steenburgen, Martha Stewart, Elizabeth Taylor, James Taylor, Cheryl Tiegs, John Travolta, Calvin Trillin, Ivana Trump, Sam Waterston and Kristi Yamaguchi. Special acknowledgement is given to Alison Inches and Craig Shemin.
