SCENE 1 | Everybody at Camp Echo Rock Cabin 10 is busy cleaning up the place while Aunt Mae does her special inspections to make sure everything is neat and in order. Big Bird and the kids fix their beds (and nest) neatly, but Rusty is the only one who hasn't done so. Mickey gets the feeling that Rusty doesn't know how to make his bed and he and the group stall Aunt Mae long enough to get Rusty's bed looking the same as everybody else's. Aunt Mae finally conducts her inspection of Cabin 10 and finds it very well done... especially Rusty's bed.

As he waits for his mail Big Bird thinks about what Mr. Snuffleupagus is doing on Sesame Street, and imagines a typical scenario where Snuffy walks down the street and Susan, Gordon, David, and Maria all miss seeing him as they're preoccupied with other tasks. Back in reality Big Bird almost misses getting a huge postcard from Snuffy, which very much describes the same situation he imagined.
