COLD OPEN | Big Bird, Elmo, Telly, Kate, Rameek, and Jake introduce today's sponsors, and say they're all going to be pretend superheroes. They rush out and return with superhero costumes... except for Telly, who hasn't decided what kind of superhero he wants to be yet.
SCENE 1 | Mr. Handford runs into the youngsters, who tell them their superhero identities. Telly says he hasn't come up with one yet, as the names he thinks of for himself are too similar to everyone else's. Mr. Handford calls himself "Ultra Store Keeper Man," though "Ultra Telly" was Telly's next choice. The superheroes start running all over looking for adventures to go on, leaving Telly to continue thinking of his own super alter ego (and a cool costume to go with it).
