	SCENE 1	During the wee hours, Hiroshi finds Hoots trying to comfort a sobbing Athena. Being a nocturnal creature, she's upset because her friends on Sesame Street can't stay up for her bird-day (birthday) party tomorrow night. Hiroshi comes up with an idea, planning to spread the word about the party so people will accommodate their sleep schedules accordingly.

	SCENE 3	Elmo is about to ask Big Bird what time the party is, but doesn't want to wake him again. He uses Big Bird's phone to call Hiroshi, who is in the middle of something and says he'll call right back. When the phone rings, Big Bird wakes up and answers; Elmo is so embarrassed that he tells Hiroshi he'll call back. He apologizes and Big Bird suggests he get some sleep as well, but Elmo still denies needing it.

	SCENE 5	The bird-day party is about to begin in the yard. Hoots goes off to fetch Athena, who will be surprised when she sees all the kids who have stayed up late. Elmo continues to find it hard staying awake than Big Bird does, and curls up on one of the tables to rest. Athena arrives, and everyone sings the bird-day song to her. Even Elmo manages to sing a part of it while sleeping.

	Cast	Susan, Luis, Gordon and Maria are competing on a potato bag race. Maria's bag is full of vegetables, which she gives to the others. They hop off to make them into meals, leaving Maria as the only racer. (First: Episode 1480)

Hiroshi shows pictures of a seagull, a swan, and a saxophone (which is associated with Hoots). Elmo makes the "S" sound in his sleep, so he gets them all right!
