- Prior to working as a writer on Miraculous, Matthieu was a writer on Sammy & Co, another ZAG-produced show.
- Sébastien Thibaudeau revealed various facts about Matthieu on the former's Instagram post on June 7, 2022.[1]:
- He wrote a total 30 scripts for the TV series; 27 episodes and 3 TV specials.
- The first script he written is for "The Evillustrator" and the first line written is for Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
- His favorite episodes are "Catalyst" and "Mayura".
- His favorite character is Chloé Bourgeois.
- At one point, a photo was taken of Matthieu showing off a sketch of a horse dressing up as Ladybug. He also jokingly wrote down ideal superhero names for the sketch, including "Ladyhorse" and "Horsebug".
- In "Sentibubbler", Ladybug unified the Ladybug and Horse Miraculouses to become "Pegabug".
- Later, in "Miraculous Shanghai", Fei Wu would sometimes shapeshift into "Ladyhorse" whenever she calls upon Ma Ma.
