I am newbee on wiki I had created a page for try then a person of wiki Turkey delete my draft page, ban my nickname without any warning Actuallly I can use same nick name but that person(Kibele) said that (Gerekçe: #9-Uygun olmayan kullanıcı adı -Ineligible username) I could not understand why my nickname is ineligible. @Steinsplitter Can you help me thinking in a way to prove it? As I said, the IP is not useful since the last login was 2 years ago and can not be verified using CheckUser. Other websites usually says we send an email to x**@yyy.zzz, that would help me remember what email I registered (if I did it). As I could see from here, one user had a nickname "Hugohomem", and then the renaming to "Homem" was done. But Hugo Homem is a popular name, so you should verify by recovering password and posting from that account that account is really yours --Ochilov (talk) 16:43, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

For several days now I have not been able to log myself into my enWP and deWP user accounts, both user:Lesabendio. The Log-in page keeps returning the following uniform one-line message:

Exception encountered, of type "Exception"

This happens from both of my workstations and from my wife’s workstation, while she is well able to log herself in under her username on both of my work stations . Tried all customary remedies: cleared Firefox cache, restored Firefox, cleared cookies, reset the router, typed standing on my head... Nobody at the deWP help desk seems to have encountered a similar problem. So I would be be very grateful for either help or forwarding this request. I copied the above from en:Wikipedia:Help desk#Can’t log into my user account. Special:CentralAuth/Lesabendio gives the same error message so something must have gone wrong with the account. https://tools.wmflabs.org/quentinv57-tools/tools/sulinfo.php?username=Lesabendio does work. It largely depends on how busy the servers are when the rename process begins. A user with a lot of edits may take up to 30 minutes to an hour. You can keep tabs on your rename progress by viewing Special:GlobalRenameProgress. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 14:56, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi Aphex, other people across the world used the name Aphex just like you, only in different language versions of Wikipedia. Half a year ago all accounts became global. There is a Korean editor who also uses the name and has more edits then you. As such he got the global name and you were renamed.
